i. Single Character Adoptions
1 - The person who is placing their character up for adoption does not require to explain why they are doing so. If they wish, they may post a reason why they no longer can Role Play that character, but it is not necessary.
2 - The person who is placing the character up for adoption is required to set up a set of rules which they would like all possible adoptees to follow. An example would be:
- Please post a 3 - 5 paragraph sample role play - Please provide the names of all characters you currently role play - You should be familiar with this character - Your current characters cannot be this character's mate.
3 - Adoptees MUST obey by the rules instated by the person posting the adoption.
4 - Adoptees do not have to create a new character profile as it has already been done.
5 - Adoptees cannot change the character's history, past personality, or appearance. The character profile is not to be touched after adopting.
6 - Personality may change once you role play, but it is preferred that you familiarize yourself with the prospected character and stick to their personality traits.
ii. Litter (offspring) Character Adoptions
1 - Once the litter is posted by a moderator, the parents will post with their choice of who they wish to role play from that litter (if they wish to RP any of the offspring). Once they have chosen, one of them MUST post the requirements which prospected adopters will abide by.
2 - Once the parents have posted and discussed between themselves who gets what and who will be remaining, then adopters may post their sample Role Play and be eligable for adoption.
3 - Like above, the parents must create a brief set of rules. This can be discussed via Private Message prior to posting to prevent the thread from being clogged.
4 - The parents will be the ones controlling the adoptions NOT the moderator who posted the litter. If the parent says no, then no it is.
5 - The moderator who posted the litter must keep updated on that thread until all offspring have been adopted (and must update the main thread stating who was adopted and who is available)
6 - After two to three weeks, the remaining unadopted offspring will be declared dead and therefore the adoptions will end and the thread will be locked.
